Another club visit to Norwich city centre saw us meet at the same car park.
The theme for the night was to capture ‘The Essence of Three of the City’s Bridges’.
First port of call was the Jarrold bridge which has plenty of photo opportunities. It was the scene of my POTY winning shot in the ‘Working with Light’ round.
I took the shot almost a year ago this week, and it’s available on my shop here.
While many fellow club members were looking for quirky street style images, architecture scenes or macro shots, the landscape shooter in me concentrated a grabbing a shot or two on the bridge.
I liked the curvature of the bridge and was thrilled when I reviewed this shot at home. I liked the way the bend in the bridge draws the eye in.
A second shot with the reflections in the river was also a keeper.
Wandering further along the riverbank, I revisited the bridge at Whitefriars and got a duplicate shot of the scene from two weeks earlier.
A fellow club member and I were somewhat intrigued by a shopping trolley on the riverside padlocked to a fence! No idea why or what the purpose of it is but interesting nonetheless!
Once I had done my editing, I made a composite using two images from the evening and a third from the previous fortnight to create the collection below.
Onwards and upwards…
