We decided to take a walk around Catton Park via the local churchyard.

It was a drab afternoon weather-wise and I grabbed my Infrared camera thinking I’ll just do a few shots in the churchyard.

It’s quite often that my first shot is my best one, and the one below in the churchyard proved that observation to be true.

I then took a shot resting my camera on some leaves on top of a tomb.

We walked on to the park where I took a few shots of trees.

First shot in the park

This next one is quite dull, but I want to show that sometimes shots you think have potential just don’t work.

One for the bin

The next shot just didn’t work in any colour channel mix I tried to I converted it to monochrome.

It’s alright!

It’s alright but nothing wow.

We wandered back home and I was very pleased with the churchyard shots.

I can see now why the club pictorialist group goes to Rosary cemetery quite often.

Onwards and upwards…
