Following the best nine of Instagram and VERO, I’d thought I’d pick out some of my favourite images from 2022.
I haven’t chosen a specific number of images but I’ve tried to be as selective as I can.
Bucket list moments
Bucket list items ticked off this year include:
Photographing fireworks at Cromer on New Year’s Day. This was very enjoyable and the shot below is one of my favourites:
The next bucket list item was getting the opportunity to photograph sea eagles off the Isle of Mull. .
Exhibition achievement
Thanks to try Wife Kathryn suggesting I enter one of those images into the club for consideration at the annual exhibition, the shot below was highly commended and won the nature and wildlife trophy!

The year started brilliantly with one of my favourite shots on a club sunrise trip to Bawdsey Suffolk!

Aside from the amazing trip to photograph sea eagles, I grabbed Canadian geese, a puffin, a red kite, a swan and a Robin:
Holidays
Our three week epic trip to Scotland had the sea eagles and puffin experiences but also delivered a set of awesome landscapes:
North Wales
Two weeks in North Wales brought plenty of photo opportunities with these ones being my favourites:
Suffolk
A long weekend in Suffolk saw us pack a lot in with the highlight being Flatford and Aldeburgh:
Reflections
All in all, an amazing year with some great images captured.
I shall now start to think about what I’d like to achieve in 2023 with some trips already being planned.
