The first of the club’s new critique evenings is enjoyable and works well.

An early morning shoot at Cart Gap provides opportunities for some decent images.

Three images went into the image of the year competition, but sadly none made the shortlist.

For my first ever panel competition, one of my two panels makes it to the first shortlisted round.

The fifth and final digital image round gets me 18/20 and achieving third place overall in my league.

In the last of three print rounds, I maintain my 8/10 minimum score benchmark.

In this round of POTY, I achieve a none too shabby 18/20 combined score.

The image I think will be a top scorer doesn’t break the 8/10 barrier.
